Acceptable Use Policy

Effective July 5, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) supplements our Terms of Service. By using Loralume, you agree not to use the Service in any of the ways described below. Violations may result in immediate account termination and, where required, referral to law enforcement.

1. Absolute Prohibitions

You may never:

  • Upload or generate sexual content depicting a minor (CSAM). This is an absolute, non-negotiable prohibition. Confirmed CSAM will be reported to NCMEC as required by 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and preserved as evidence.
  • Upload photos of any person without their explicit, informed consent — including celebrities, public figures, coworkers, ex-partners, or any third party. This applies to strangers photographed in public as well.
  • Impersonate another person for the purpose of fraud, harassment, defamation, or misleading a third party.
  • Generate non-consensual intimate imagery of any person (“revenge porn”), or use the Service to harass, threaten, or intimidate any individual.
  • Produce content depicting real people in illegal acts (e.g., appearing to commit crimes they did not commit).
  • Generate imagery for election interference or political disinformation, including fabricated images of public officials or candidates.

2. Restricted Content

The following are restricted and may only be produced under specific conditions:

  • Photographs of your own minor children: permitted only if you (a) are the child's parent or legal guardian, (b) have completed the age-verification workflow for that subject, and (c) select only theme packs tagged “family-safe.” Adult-only themes are hard-blocked for minor subjects.
  • Photographs of deceased individuals: permitted only where you have consent from the estate or living family, and only where compatible with applicable post-mortem publicity rights in your jurisdiction.
  • Photographs of public figures for satire or commentary: not permitted on Loralume. Our verification requires the physical presence of the subject at consent time.

3. Prohibited Themes & Prompts

Regardless of who the subject is, you may not use the Service to generate:

  • Sexually explicit content, pornography, or nudity.
  • Extreme violence, gore, or depictions of torture.
  • Hateful imagery targeting a person or group based on race, religion, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
  • Instructions or depictions of self-harm or suicide.
  • Content promoting the manufacture or sale of illegal drugs, weapons, or other regulated goods.
  • Deepfakes intended to defame, deceive, or harass.

4. Prohibited Behaviors

You may not:

  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or exfiltrate our AI models, safety systems, or training pipelines.
  • Scrape, spider, or bulk-download content from the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass content-moderation, verification, or age-gating systems.
  • Share account credentials or resell the Service to third parties.
  • Introduce malware, exploit vulnerabilities, or overload the Service.
  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

5. Enforcement

We enforce this AUP through:

  • Automated content moderation on every uploaded image, using a vision-language safety classifier.
  • CSAM scanning using industry-standard hash-based detection.
  • Face-scan verification required for every human subject before training.
  • Manual admin review for edge cases and reported abuse.
  • Post-generation quality checks to detect content that drifted outside policy despite compliant prompts.

Enforcement actions range from single-image rejection through order cancellation to permanent account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.

6. Reporting Abuse

To report suspected AUP violations by another Loralume user, or to report content that you believe should not have been generated, email abuse@loralume.com. If the content depicts a minor in a sexual context, please include the URL or order ID and any other identifying details; we treat these reports as immediate-priority.
